Check the surface quality of the profile: quality fire windows have a glossy, textured surface with uniform color spraying and a smooth feel. Poor quality fire windows have rough surfaces, dull gloss, discoloration or fading, and colors that are not vibrant or full. Aluminum alloy also depends on its hardness and strength, and the profile surface may be electrostatically sprayed or electrophoretically coated.
Check the thickness of the aluminum profile cross-section: the cutting surface of the aluminum profile should have correct geometry without bending or twisting, and the cutting angle should be accurate. The cutting surface thickness should be sufficient. For example, a custom 60-type broken bridge aluminum door and window means the profile thickness is 6cm, all made of broken bridge aluminum material; while inferior products use imitation 60 profiles with thickness supported by perforated bars and relatively smaller aluminum. Some merchants use substandard aluminum alloy to make broken bridge aluminum fire windows, causing loose corners on window sashes and frames, making it difficult to maintain insulation.
Check whether the fire window has insulation strips: insulation strips and fire-resistant adhesive strips are the key to fire windows. Good insulation and fire-resistant tape determines whether the window provides insulation and fire protection. Insulation strips are made of PVC or nylon. Fire windows use nylon insulation strips, which have better high and low temperature resistance, low thermal conductivity, and can achieve energy-saving insulation effects.
